Destination Science Camp is proudly taught by top-notch elementary educators & bright college students. Each of the following camp themes runs for 1 week & is open to campers 5 to 11 years. Enroll in all 4 of the following camp themes or pick as many as you like:
“All New” FIZZ! BANG! POP! FLASH! Are you ready to mix up some wild wacky science magic? Each day we will uncover some of magic’s “science secrets” by doing our own experiments. Watch out things can get crazy like exploding capsules “BANG” and water that turns into instant light “FLASH”. Mix “FIZZ”ing powders and invent a new soda “POP”. Using your very own incredibly bizarre Science Magic bag of FUN you can become a Science Wizard & WOW your friends and family with cool experiments at home. You’ll have to see it to believe it! Create a mini rainbow of crystals in a test tube, atomic glow slime, color-changing flowers, disappearing money and mirrors that let you see things that are not really there. You hold the answers to all the science secrets. Share if you dare. “All New” WACKY WEIRD ROBOTS & MONSTER RACERS! Step into the wacky weird Robot Lab to construct the strangest “monster-est” robot ever! We will uncover the mysteries of cyborg science to bring our motorized robo creation to life. On the final day of camp we prepare our robot for its Ultimate Challenge, to battle and race at the wacky weird Robo Rally. Will your robot be a creepy bug bot, a hungry gobble bot or something the world has never seen? Our Techno charged camp includes screaming physics, digital dice, solar sunglass science, an electronic alligator game you build yourself, and more. Next, design your ride! Use Newton’s Laws to create your own electric powered crazy cool set of wheels, souped up for speed and ready to race. This camp is electrified and powered by physics fun! “All New” ROCKET BLASTERS & EXTREME MARS! Become a rocket scientist as we explore reverse fuel launches, chemical reaction rockets and giant air gliders. Build the ultimate rocket, the Q – H20, Hydro- Blaster. On the final day you become the Launch Master as you fuel it up, lock it down and send your rocket skyward! “Earth calling Mars, this is mission control, your objective, build your own motorized Mars rover, use solar power to collect Martian samples and join the Mars rover race!” Will your rover find minerals, water or even life? In this incredible space camp your fantastic voyage through our solar system is about to begin, make an Earth you can eat, discover compass geo-trekking, uncover prehistoric fossils, launch helicopters and much more! “Back By Popular Demand” WILD ANIMAL PHYSICS FUN PARK! The gates are now open! WELCOME to the Destination Science Fun Park, where you become a roller coaster scientist! Each day you build and experiment with your very own Electric Powered Roller Coaster that you can take home on the final day of camp. Your Fun Park needs a flashin’ light-up carnival! These include Electro Lizard Operation (electric circuits), Crazy Catapult Skeeball (simple machines), Mini Cosmic Bowling (Newton’s Laws). Later, Get wild and create Animal Kingdom Park. Come face to face with Freaky Foober a real live frog, let Milli Vanilli the millipede tickle your finger and Sebastian the crab show you the power of his giant claw. Your wild animal kingdom will include an artic encounter with a giant growing polymer penquin and a rainforest rally monkey mammal that hangs on your arm. We will be waiting to greet you at the Wild Animal Physics Fun Park, see you soon!!
